Two Added to the Cast of Freeform’s Pilot, Issues

Anyone else obsessed with The Devil Loves Prada? It’s one of those movies that I can watch on repeat. In all honesty – it’s on the reason that I moved to New York. For me – that whole idea of working and achieving dreams just made sense.

Why am I bringing this up? Because it seems that Freeform has a show that they are casting for, entitled Issues. Yes, the characters in the show may have issue – but that’s not what we are talking about. The show is about 3 young women who work for Scarlet Magazine. They are ready to take New York by storm.

The show was inspired by the life of the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, Joanna Coles.

Two castings have been announced for the show. First is Sam Page, who will be playing Richard. Richard is on the board of directors and a lawyer for Scarlet. He’s hot and the ladies want him.

The second is Melora Hardin who will play Jacqueline, the editor in chief of Scarlet. She’s tough and intimidating. Yet like all good bosses, she has a nurturing side and wants to pull out Janes writing voice.

We’re intrigued by this pilot. We don’t know if it will be picked up, but it’s one that we’ll be watching out for.

I work a lot. Fangirlish is my baby. I work in social media professionally and I love it - which is probably why I don't keep up on my own. I don't sleep enough and I obsess too much over my favorite things. I need to work on combing my hair more. Or at elast I need to stop dying it different colors.
