‘Vixen’ to Premiere August 25 on CW Seed

The CW’s newest hero is arriving next month on CW Seed.

The animated series Vixen has been given a premiere date of Tuesday, Aug. 25 on CW Seed, which is just about a month from now and just over a month prior to the season premieres of Arrow and The Flash.

Speaking of those superhero shows, Vixen will feature appearances by the Arrow (Stephen Amell), the Flash (Grant Gustin), Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes).

Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her.
Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals – anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from threats like those that claimed her family.
