Welcome to a new game of Jumanji.
In Sony’s first trailer for the Jumanji sequel, Welcome to the Jungle, the game takes on a new identity as the focus shifts from the board game to a video game as four teenagers are sucked into a tropical world filled with dangers and must survive as their video game counterparts.
“We always talk about [Welcome to the Jungle] as another Jumanji adventure,” producer Matt Tolmach told EW. “It is very much the spirit of Jumanji, but with a different group of people and sort of a different idea. But the idea of the game that comes to life is the DNA there.”
