Wattpad Block Party SEII Author Interview @outofmylimit17

By

The countdown continues as we lead up to the Wattpad Block Party…the fun in the sun Wattpad party of the year!

But until then, we bring you more exclusive author interviews, this time with @outofmylimit17

What is it about Wattpad that makes it such a wonderful forum for writers?

Personally I think it is the friendly atmosphere that  has. Writers can write what they want and not be feared of being judged. People are so encouraging and friendly when they read your works. Being able to write what you feel and think without being judged is something a lot of people should feel once in their life. The fan base is of course another thing makes Wattpad great.

What is your genre? Why do you love it?

I write romance usually, but for reading I read everything and everything; no matter the genre. I love to write romance because it gives you that feeling or hope that maybe that kind of love is real. Reading a romance book is like going into your own dimension where your dreams of having a guy or an experience like the one in the book is real.

Is this your first Wattpad Block Party? How does it feel to take part for the first time? If you’ve participated before, what has participating in past Block Parties been like?

This is my second time being apart of the Block Party. I was in the one before this, Winter Block Party, and had a blast. The friendliness and friends you make while doing this is great. I learned a lot from other writers and even discovered new books I never thought i’d read or like. Definitely one the best things I’ve been apart of.

Who are some of your favorite Wattpad authors and why?

Oh man I have so many! I am as much of a fangirl as I am a writer. I love ThaliePurvis, Cherry_Cola, isabellaronin, Kelly Anne, TaintedRain, and so many more! All these authors just know how to write an amazing story that captures you right from the beginning. You are immediately hooked with the characters and literally can’t stop reading it until you’ve finished.

What are some of your personal accolades and milestones you have reached with your writing?

Well my biggest one is getting published from being apart of the block party. The agency Limitless, found my book, A Year Agreement, and offered to publish it. That has to be the coolest and greatest thing that has happened to me. All thanks to Kelly Anne and Wattpad. Another is reaching 45 thousand followers! So many great people have read my stuff and supported my writing. I can’t thank them enough for it.

What writing aspirations do you still hold?

I would love to keep writing more stories and getting them published. I want people to be able to pick up my book and get lost in it. Give them an escape from reality if only for a few minutes. I want to inspire other people to just try and write because they never know if they are good at it or not unless they try. I just want to continue writing for fans and hopefully one day get a movie made from my books :D
