When did you start writing on Wattpad?

I started writing on wattpad 5 years ago.

What made you decide to start posting your work on Wattpad?

Me and my friends just did it for fun, like it was a competition between us to see who could get the highest reads and that’s how it all started. For me it then turned serious and then I carried on doing it not really caring about reads or votes or comments.

What made Wattpad the best outlet for your writing?

Because nobody knows me, like friends and family, it’s up to me who discovers my account for my friends and family. I like the anonymous of being able to write on wattpad. I could be honest on there and it meant that I could deal with the issues and problems I had on through the site.

Why is it that you write?

Because I love it, it’s a part of me, I can’t go a day without writing or working on my stories, it makes me happy. To be able to create multiple worlds and create characters for those worlds. I don’t think there is anything better than that. That’s one of the many reasons another being that it’s a good outlet for everything in life.

Do you want to be an author?

Yes I want to be an author, I am working on fixing up my first novel and maybe start querying and submitting it to agents and publishing houses. It has a lot of work to do though so it will take time.

If you could give any advice to a Wattpad writer, what would it be?

Write what you want. Don’t write what you think other people want. Write because you want to write and write what you want to read. Don’t give up either, some days are bad, some days are ok, some days are good.

What fandom do you think that you would never write about?

Erm, a fandom I’m not part of?

What fandom do you want to write about?

I started out writing 1D fanfiction 5 years ago. Thankfully I have moved away from that, I am writing Teen Wolf fanfic.

What made you decide to write fan fiction?

Well, I binge watched all 5 seasons of Teen Wolf in a week, and then I couldn’t stop watching youtube clips, thinking about it. So I decided to write a fanfic.

Who are your favorite published authors?

Nicholas Sparks. Giovanna Fletcher. Carrie Hope Fletcher. Cassandra Clare. Carlos Ruiz Zafon. And so many more but I think we would be here forever if I listed them all…

What’s the best comment that you ever received from a reader?

This comment was from my story Royal Mayhem and it made my day.

“Amazing story! I honestly did not want to stop reading it once I started but we all know how life goes. The story line was great and I cannot wait to start the sequel. Thank you for writing this story and sharing it with us! I also would like to say thank you for how quickly you respond to comments and for how you engage your readers! I am the one that does not like to comment while reading a completed story because I would much rather just keep reading but there were things that I just had to stop and comment on which was great! Honestly there were some parts that I knew I wanted to make a comment on but I decided that I had to know what was happening so I would keep reading and not comment. That saved you from a lot of random comments. Again I want to say thank you for sharing this story with us and interacting with us readers. I am excited to read more of your works!”

(That was posted on the last chapter and it’s the best comment I think I could ever receive.)

Who are your favorite Wattpad writers?

XxDemolitionloverxx, Dreamflier, Lily-rain, Trewest, makeandoffer, mamie1990. I could go on and on.

Tell us about a story you’ve written that you’re most proud of and why people should be reading it.

Royal Mayhem, its from my recent series the first book in that series. I think from that book you really see how much I’ve grown as a writer from my very first book. Out of all my stories that is the one I’m most proud of, I put all my effort and energy into that book and it paid off. The people who have read it, have loved the story and I guess it speaks for itself. That’s the story I’m proud of that is actually posted.

Do you ever write from experience?

Yes, on some stuff I do write from experience. The most common one I usually use is heartbreak, but yes I’ve used other things from my experience.

Have you made friends thanks to being an author on Wattpad?

I have some of my best friends are from wattpad and I talk to them daily I don’t know how I would get through life without them, I am lucky that two of them live a train or bus away. But yes some of my best friends I have met through Wattpad.

What’s your most well known story and why do you think it’s the most popular?

The Selective Mute Princess. I’d like to say because it’s written brilliantly (but it’s not lots of grammar issues), I think people like it because of the plot, the Princess is mute because she saw her sister murdered when she was 10. I think people like the plot more than anything about that story. Or maybe people just like royal stories, I really don’t know why it’s the most popular out of my stories. It’s also the longest one that has been posted.
