A 'Friends' Reunion is Coming to NBC

They’ll always be there for us. In our hearts, in our minds, and on Netflix so that we may relive the many glorious times that Friends brought us for a decade from the mid-90s through the early-00s.
It’s hard to believe it’s been more than 10 years since Friends last graced our television screens with new episodes. Over those years fans have been clamoring for a reunion of some sort, but there’s never been a time and place where all six members of the iconic cast — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer — have been able to make it work. Until now.
The Friends cast — yep, all six of them! — will reunite on NBC for a two-hour special honoring Friends’ director James Burrows, it was announced at the Television Critics Association press tour on Wednesday.
The special is about Burrows, who’s also worked on Taxi, The Bob Newhart Show, and Cheers and recently shot his 1,000th episode of television.
One of the questions asked was whether or not all six would be in the same room or appear individually through the special.
“I’m hoping all six will be in same room at same time, I’m not sure we can logistically can pull it off,” NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said.
