A Celebration of Harry Potter 2016 is just the gift that keeps on giving! One day after getting information about four new wizarding schools located around the world, we now get an exciting sneak peek behind the scenes at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The movie, which takes us back to the wizarding world created by J.K Rowling, opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander (Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne) has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. In New York for a brief stopover, Newt has to deal with a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of his fantastic beasts. David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” films, is set to direct.
J.K Rowling herself penned the screenplay for the movie, which is inspired by the Hogwarts textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by her character Newt Scamander.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them also stars Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman and Alison Sudol.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens worldwide on November 18th, 2016.
