It’s Super Bowl Week, which basically means anything and everything advertisers want you to see/know/try is going to air during the game. You want to know why? Because everyone, and when I say everyone, I mean absolutely everyone, will be watching.

The X-Files knows this – they aired the series most-watched episode, “Leonard Betts,” after Super Bowl XXXI. And this Sunday, they’ll be debuting exclusive footage from the season finale at the start of and during halftime of the game. And, get this …the all-new footage will be available for viewing exclusively on  Fox.com, Facebook, Twitter and Hulu ONLY during halftime

We don’t have much information yet about the season finale, but the episode airing this Monday, titled “Home Again,” looks to bring out the feels.  Here’s the official synopsis provided by FOX:

Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) are sent to investigate the murder of a city official, which, it seems, no human could have committed. Meanwhile, Scully deals with deep feelings about the child she gave up for adoption in the all-new “Home Again” episode of THE X-FILES airing Monday, Feb. 8 (8:009:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The next all-new episode of THE X-FILES airs Monday, Feb. 8 @ 8/7c on FOX!
