See what she has to say about writing on Wattpad below –

When did you start writing on Wattpad?

I’m pretty sure I started sometime late last year…I forgot when exactly – I’ve had like three or four Wattpad accounts before this one…oops 😀

What inspired you to write on Wattpad?

Since I was five I’ve always been in to writing. I was always writing stories – even when I didn’t really know how to write them! For me, writing was a way to escape from the world around me, it gave me a place to go when reality began to bore me. One day a friend suggested I should check out Wattpad and so here I am 😀

What has writing on Wattpad taught you?

So many things. This community is one of the largest and the most accepting one know of. I’ve always had support with my books, whether that came from my friends or from other readers! And for a beginner like me, I can’t even begin to explain how important that is!

Why did you choose to write Fan Fiction?

I think mainly because I’ve fallen in love with what the original author has created. By witting Fan Fictions I’m able to keep the story going once it’s ended or explore another root that’s only briefly mentioned. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to take the world you love and add certain things in that make the experience more enjoyable for you and maybe even for other fans.

What is your favorite part of writing Fan Fiction?

The best things about writing Fan Fictions is knowing I’m in control of the story, especially the characters. I can go back and look at certain characters. I can expand on their roles. For once, I’m able to go inside their mind, explore their past, present and future. I can look at their relationships with other characters and maybe even add some more! There’s so many possibilities and as a fan, words can’t describe how that experience feels.

What fandom do you think would be the hardest fandom to write in?

Oh that’s a hard one. I guess it depends on how experienced you are with certain Fandoms. I always find it easier to stick to the ones I’m very knowledgeable about, that way I know I wouldn’t upset any fans with inaccurate work. That being said I think probably the Lord of the Rings fandom would be the hardest. J.R.R Tolkien is an amazing writer who has created such a vast and beautiful world and I feel I would never be able to gain the amount of knowledge needed to write something that wouldn’t offended him. I love his works too much to take that risk.

What’s been the best compliment you received from a fan?

The nicest compliments I’ve received was a few comments like “I’m crying” or “this is so sad” is that considered a compliment? I’m don’t know but it makes me feel accomplished and happy to know that my work touches people in those ways.

Who are your favorite published authors?

And I thought question 6 was hard…

Oh God…um…okay, I’ve narrowed it down to three: James Dashner, J.R.R Tolkien and soon-to-be published author Ashely Royer – who some of you may know as _smilelikeniall

What advice do you have for Wattpad writers?

To never give up or feel as if your stories are unimportant. If you have something you want to say and you do that by writing then scream it from the rooftops. I used to feel as if no one would ever want to read my books but over time I plucked up the courage to press that little publish button and I can honestly say I’m glad I did. I may not be well recognised but it’s not the point. If I know if even one person is enjoying my books then I’ve done my job. Another tip is to be patience! Sometimes it takes time for your story to get out there. You just have to find the courage to continue writing and tell as many people about it as you can! Don’t be afraid to reach out to other authors – some will very gladly give advice. In the end as long as you believe in your own story and in yourself i can guarantee that everything will work out for the best, eventually (:

Who is your favorite Wattpad writer?

Easily _smilelikeniall and Tonysnarky, also carouselclifford is quickly becoming another one of my favourites.

Tell us about your favorite story that you have written and why people should be reading it.

I’ve got a few new stories coming up that I love to death but as for my published works I love Remembrance – which is a one-shot featuring the Maximoff Twins. I think I just love the way my writing came together on that one and the way I managed to write the Twins. If any of you guys liked Avengers Age of Ultron and are as in love with the Maximoff Twins as I am, you should really check it out. Btw I will not be held accountable for any feels you experience while reading it 😉
