Star Wars and Game of Thrones actress, Jessica Henwick has been cast as the female lead in the fourth Marvel and Netflix Original Series, Iron Fist.
Entertainment Weekly broke the news that Henwick will play the role of Colleen Winger, a friend and ally of Danny Rand aka Iron Fist and a martial arts expert. In the comics, Colleen first appeared in Marvel Premiere #19 as one of Danny’s friends after he left K’un-Lun.
Henwick played the role of Nymeria Sand in Game of Thrones, and X-Wing fighter pilot, Jessika Pava in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
She joins fellow Game of Thrones actor, Finn Jones who plays the title role of Danny Rand/Iron Fist in the series.
Marvel’s Iron Fist is set to premiere sometime in 2017 on Netflix.
