New ‘Arrow’ Trailer Previews Aftermath of Tragic Death in ‘Canary Cry’

Following Wednesday’s tragic farewell to Laurel Lance, Team Arrow will be faced with its biggest challenge yet as they prepare to face off against the two-headed monster in Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn, as well as struggle with the guilt over their friend’s death.

While Arrow is taking a three-week break (set to return on April 27), The CW has released a trailer for “Canary Cry,” that features a look at the aftermath of Laurel’s death. And everyone on the team is feeling pain.

But, as we see in the trailer, it’s Diggle who is struggling the most following the betrayal of his brother, which he sees as ultimately being the cause of Laurel’s death. The trailer shows an enraged Diggle, who is having trouble maintaining his sense of composure, which leads to a moment of truth where Diggle is faced with a moral dilemma: to kill or not to kill?

Watch the trailer below and prepare for more heartache when Arrow returns on April 27.

Arrow returns with its final five episodes of the season beginning Wednesday, April 27 at 8/7c on The CW.
