From Marvel villain to DC Comics good guy. That’s the journey of Willem Dafoe in the world of superhero movies.
Dafoe has landed a role in Warner Bros.’ Justice League, reports THR.com, and as a good guy, to boot.
Justice League began filming last week in London under the helm of director Zack Snyder, which will unite some of DC’s most popular heroes — Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg — for an anticipated fall 2017 debut.
Dafoe starred as the villainous Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films. But in Justice League, in which he’ll play a role in both parts, he’s playing a good guy the details of which remain under wraps.
Justice League: Part One hits theaters November 17, 2017.
