When it comes to big-name superhero crossover events on The CW, it’s no surprise every year when the heroes of The CW team-up for an epic crossover event.
With Supergirl making the move from CBS to The CW, it was only natural to assume that she’d get in on the action, along with fellow soon-to-be-sophomore-series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
When talking with reporters on Thursday morning about Supergirl‘s move to The CW, CW president Mark Pedowitz touted the big move and teased an epic crossover event.
“Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December,” he said. He also called the event “our biggest one ever.”
Update: During The CW’s Upfront presentation, Pedowitz confirmed that there will indeed be a four-show epic crossover event with Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
The crossover event, which began with Arrow and The Flash in 2014, has become an annual event. Next season was to add freshman series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow into the mix. But now with Supergirl‘s introduction onto The CW, this potential four-night crossover event has the potential to blow our freaking minds.
