The Flash Season 3 Premiere Title Revealed as 'Flashpoint'

As The Flash gears up to begin production on season three next month, we’re getting teases about to expect for the new season. With the cast receiving the script for the season three premiere, we’re starting to get their reactions. And from the sound of it, the premiere is going to be “lit.”
Following The Flash‘s season two finale cliffhanger there was never any doubt that the show would tackle the famous “Flashpoint” storyline. But Grant Gustin made it official when he announced the season three premiere’s title on Twitter on Monday — with approval from boss Greg Berlanti, of course.

Following Barry’s decision to go back in time and save his mother, he basically altered history as we’ve come to know it.
One of the concerns with The Flash tackling Flashpoint is how it will impact the other shows, including Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. It’s seeming more and more likely that Flashpoint will be resolved or lead to the epic four-part, four-show crossover event, which will be at its biggest this season.
The Flash premieres Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 8/7c on The CW.
