Star Wars fans rejoice! James Earl Jones, the iconic voice of Darth Vader, is set to reprise his role in Star Wars: Rogue One.
David Prowse, the man inside the costume, however, won’t be returning. He’s now 80 years old so it’s hard to imagine him getting into the iconic costume once again. In his place, EW reports that they’ll use ” a variety of large-framed performers”.
Ah, the days of having just one man (or two) to hate.
Despite these confirmations that doesn’t mean that Darth Vader will have a large role in the flim. Instead, he’ll be in the movie “sparingly but at a key, strategic moment, he’s going to loom large,” according to producer Kathleen Kennedy.

This is the second big news to come out of the Star Wars: Rogue One camp before San Diego Comic-Con. Yesterday it was announced that Forrest Whitaker’s would be playing Saw Gerrera from Star Wars:The Clone Wars.
Star Wars: Rogue One opens in the US on December 16th, 2016.
