With an excellent collection of actors, Marvel’s upcoming film Black Panther is shaping up to a film we can’t wait to see. The latest edition is Winston Duke as the villain M’Baku, Variety reports.
Winston Duke is best known for his role in Person of Interest and has also appeared in Major Crimes and The Messengers.
M’Baku or Ape-Man is a villain who starts out as a powerful soldier who joins the White Gorilla cult where he gains superpowers and then attempts to take the kingdom of Wakanda for himself.
M’Baku is one of Black Panther’s main nemeses but with the addition of Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger and Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaw, there might seem like an influx of villains in this film, but it’s more than likely that Duke’s role has been set up for a future Black Panther movie.
Black Panther also stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Lupita N’yongo, Danai Gurira and Ryan Coogler will be directing.
Black Panther will be released in cinemas on July 6, 2018
