Lucy Hale Tweets Back After Her Topless Photos Are Stolen: “Embarrassed? No. angry? Yes.”

I don’t for the life of me understand why people think it is okay to expose celebrities – or anyone else for that matter – naked. It’s not okay to steal photos, to hack phones, and it’s fucking disgusting that people post leaked/stolen photos on the internet.

Lucy Hale is the latest celebrity to have her photos stolen and placed on a disgusting website. The topless photos that were posted are an invasion of her privacy. Someone on twitter posted that she must be embarrassed.

Quick question? Why the hell would she be? The truth is that she has no reason to be embarrassed.

“Why would I be embarrassed?” she tweeted back. “I got violated and someone illegally stole my photos. Embarrassed? No. angry? Yes.”

And we don’t blame her. We’re pissed off for her. The actress then went on to release a longer statement.

“Well, I wasn’t going to comment on something so ridiculous, but since 2017 is gonna be all about speaking my truth…I’m going to say something. Once again, a woman in the public eye was violated, stolen from and her private life and body were exposed for anyone to see. I will not apologize for living my life and having a personal life that is all mine. It’s truly unfortunate that being exposed in this way is allowed.” she tweeted.

We agree. No need to apologize, Lucy didn’t do anything wrong. Who did something wrong? The idiot that stole her pictures and the website that posted them. We as a society, need to stop shaming or attempting to shame in any way the women that this stuff is happening to.

TMZ reported the news.
