This Week in Marvel News: Set Photos from Black Panther and Logan Trailer

In this week’s Marvel news, we got an epic new trailer for Logan, Black Panther’s new set photos have got us amped for the film and The Inhumans gains a director.

  1. The new trailer for Logan was released

One of the films we are most excited for in 2017 is Logan, and the final trailer was released this week.
The synopsis reads: A weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. His attempts to hide from the world and his legacy, however, are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
The new trailer also gives the audience a taste of Laura Kinney, a mutant child who might be a clone of Logan. The film is directed by James Mangold.

Logan will be released in theaters on March 3, 2017.

  1. The Inhumans television series gains a director

The first two episodes of the new Inhumans series will be directed by Roel Reine, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first two episodes will be screened in IMAX theaters on Labor Day weekend and then the following six episodes will premiere on ABC during the fall season.
Reine has previously won a the Dutch equivalent of an Oscar for his film, The Delivery and has directed Black Sails.

  1. The first set photos of Black Panther

We have been waiting for Black Panther to get the ball rolling ever since the stellar cast was announced, and now it seems as if filming has finally begun, according to JustJared and Atlanta Filming.

Spotted in Atlanta, Georgia was Panter star, Chadwick Boseman who first played the title character of T’Challa in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, as well as Lupita N’yongo who stars as Nakia, Martin Freeman (Everett K. Ross), and Danai Gurira (Okoye).

Black Panther will be released in cinemas on February 16, 2018.
