Team Z is back in town in iZombie’s first teaser promo & sneak peek for Season 3 of The CW’s hit zombie show. They’ve also released the synopsis and a set of photos for their first episode ‘Heaven Just Got a Little Bit Smoother.’

Last we left off, Liv, Detective Babineaux, and Major crashed the Super Max Rager party which turned into a zombie horde after having tainted Utopium. Long story short, Team Z fights off a lot of zombies, guest singer Rob Thomas is found dead, and Vivian is revealed to be in charge of an army of zombies.

When Team Z returns for Season 3, Liv will start unraveling the mystery and purpose of this private military contractor employing a small zombie army. They’re preparing for war when the humans inevitably find out about their zombie existence. The ball might be set rolling when Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family.

This season will also let Liv experience life as a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and many more!

In addition, Major will be exonerated of his Chaos Killer crimes and find a job in the military, practically the only place that will employ him. And on the Ravi front, a former boss at the Center for Disease Control will make his way to Seattle to investigate the strange massacre at Max Rager.
