Veronica is shocked to discover that a classmate she’s befriended has been hurt by her father’s illegal doings in Riverdale‘s ‘La Grande Illusion.’ So far she’s had her father’s back and hasn’t understood the magnitude of his actions. This could be the wake up call that she needs to realize why he landed in jail. Luckily enough, Betty is there to comfort her and offer her the support needed. These last couple episodes have been seriously lacking in the Beronica department and we can’t wait to see more of that friendship!
As for Archie, he finally looks to be getting into the thick of things. For most of the show he’s been off on his own adventures, forging his own future, without much bother for his friends or the mystery of Jason Blossom’s murder. With Archie reluctantly agreeing to assist Cheryl during a family function and discovering they might have ulterior motives, he could be pulled in and discover something about Jason’s death previously unknown. Fingers crossed.
