As Riverdale starts winding down it’s first season it’s time to set the stage for the end in ‘To Riverdale and Back Again’. The gang is in fancy dress once more, this time around for Homecoming and Reunion weekend, and taking another crack at solving Jason Blossom’s murder.
Back in Episode 1, Archie was on a double date with Veronica and Betty and the latter was harbouring feelings for our ginger stallion. This time around Archie has found his passion, kissed a bunch of girls, and joined Alice & Veronica in investigating Jason’s death. And Betty, well she’s happy with Jughead. That changes when she finds out her mom is working with her friends, leaving her out of the loop.
This episode also sees Fred Andrews reconsidering his divorce from Mary (Molly Ringwald) amidst the disaster his life has become lately. But as much as much as I’d love to have Molly Ringwald on my TV, if Mary left once, what’s stopping her from leaving again?
Check out the synopsis:
SUSPICIONS CONTINUE TO GROW — Betty (Lili Reinhart) is slammed overseeing Homecoming and Reunion weekend, but Alice (Madchen Amick) wants her to help with the Jason Blossom investigation. Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Polly (guest star Tiera Skovbye) have both decided to go to Homecoming in Jason’s honor, until a revelation waylays their plans. Meanwhile, Fred (Luke Perry) and Mary (guest star Molly Ringwald) attend the Homecoming dance, leaving Fred to possibly reconsider the divorce. Ashleigh Murray and Marisol Nichols also star.
