‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ Debuts First Trailer

Just a few hours ago, the first trailer for “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” dropped, and I’m still buzzing. Ever since the credits rolled on the first Kingsman I’ve been waiting with barely contained excitement for a glimpse at the sequel, and it’s finally here.

As the trailer began with a voice over from Colin Firth as our beloved Harry Hart and transitioned into “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, I knew we were in for a treat. Put anything to Frank Sinatra, especially an action movie trailer, and you have instant magic. The action sequences look to be bigger, bolder, and crazier, although it’s hard to imagine that any sequence could ever beat the church scene. “The Golden Circle” is going to be one of the best films of the year if not the best, but Matthew Vaughn set the bar so high with the church scene that he will have had to come up with an absolutely mind blowing sequence to top it.

The Kingsmen are back in their impeccably tailored suits, with accessories at the height of fashion, and elegant deadly weapons, but now the Americans are on the scene. With their whips, Cowboy hats, and jean jackets they embrace the American stereotype beautifully. They are called the Statesmen and look equally as badass. I for one can’t wait to see these two spy organizations taking on the world together.

With a cast that includes the gorgeous Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges as the American Statesmen alongside Julian Moore as the villain, and Taron Egerton and Mark Strong returning as Eggsy and Merlin respectively how could you go wrong?

Even after all of that however, the biggest moment of the trailer came at the very end with the reveal of Harry Hart alive and well and wearing a new eye patch. I may have shed a few tears (ok, more than a few). To everyone out there who said there was no way Harry could have survived being shot by Valentine…we told you so. The real question is, how did he survive? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Watch the epic new trailer for “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” yourself below in case you missed it or just want to see it again. I’m pretty sure I broke the replay button on my computer.
