‘The Blacklist’ 4×19 Promo Photos: ‘Dr. Bogan Krilov’

It’s finally that time of the week again! The Blacklist is back tonight with “Dr. Bogan Krilov”. The premise is that Liz comes into contact with the doctor who altered her memories to make her forget what happened in her childhood and the night of the fire.

I’m a little bit worried about this. The last time they teased us with someone who could reveal Liz’s memories, it was pretty much a waste of time. We didn’t find out anything new, even though they built up the episode like it was supposed to answer all of burning questions.

I’m hoping the same thing doesn’t happen this time. Frankly, I think it’s now or never with this plotline. They’ve been dragging it on so long without giving any answers that fans have almost lost interest. If it doesn’t happen in “Dr. Bogan Krilov” after teasing the reveal of the doctor who altered her memories in the first place, fans are going to lose interest in this particular plot point for good.

But from the promo photos, it looks like that’s not all that’s happening in “Dr. Bogan Krilov”. Ressler is in quite a few of the photos, and I’m guessing it has something to do with his investigation into the death of Reven Wright. It looks like Laurel Hitchen is back, and the viewers know she was the one who shot Wright point blank, and Ressler suspects that she is Wright’s killer, so it looks like he’s about to go after her with all he’s got, getting pretty beat up in the process. He has a big bruise on his forehead in one photo, and he’s getting checked for a concussion by an EMT in another, so it’s going to be a rough episode for him.

Not to mention it also looks like he’s getting arrested in another photo as well, probably Laurel Hitchen’s doing. If Ressler does get arrested, Liz better do everything she can to help him, because Ressler risked his life to protect her when she was on trial for killing the attorney general, and he’s given her his support even when she didn’t really deserve it. The rest of the task force better have his back too, because he’s part of their family and he deserves all of the help and support they can give him. He’s arguably been the backbone of their whole operation, and hasn’t gotten the recognition he deserves, so it’s time for them to step up and return that support for once.

I’m not at all looking forward to seeing Ressler get beat up and possibly arrested, but I can’t wait to see how all of this plays out tonight! Episodes that even partly focus on Ressler are beyond exciting, so check out the gallery and read the synopsis for “Dr. Bogan Krilov” below!

Red sets the task force on the trail of a blacklister who has the tools to manipulate memories; Ressler receives a new lead on the disappearance of Justice Department official Reven Wright.

The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC.
