'Marvel's The Defenders' Unites Four Singular Heroes

Everything has led to this.
After meeting Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand over the past three years, the time has come for these defenders to unite as one in Marvel’s The Defenders.
The eight-episode first season is set to bow mid-August in what’s surely the most-hyped about comic show headed our way in the coming months.
In the photos released by Netflix, we glimpse our four singular heroes coming together against one common threat that’s set to infiltrate not just their individual boroughs but the entirety of New York City. Basically, it’s going to be E-P-I-C.

Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
