After NBC announced its new fall slate, which saw a lot of shows shifting to new nights, it has decided not to fix what’s not broken as This Is Us will remain on Tuesdays at 9pm.
Initially, NBC elected to move This Is Us to Thursdays at 9pm following Will & Grace to help anchor Must See TV Thursday, which used to be a staple for the network. But thankfully, NBC realized that it shouldn’t fix a good thing and opted to move This Is Us back to Tuesdays.
This Is Us‘s return to Tuesdays impacts the Tuesday slate, which forces Chicago Fire to move to Thursdays at 10pm as Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders moves from Thursdays to Tuesdays following This Is Us at 10pm. Chicago Med will take over the 10pm slot on Tuesdays following Law & Order True Crime‘s limited run concludes.
NBC’s Thursdays will once again be a comedy night as Superstore leads off at 8pm, followed by The Good Place at 8:30pm, Will & Grace at 9pm, and Good News at 9:30pm.
