Well, that was short and sweet.
Today, Friday June 2, was a day many fans of 1D crooner Liam Payne had been waiting for. The release for his debut music video for the tune ‘Strip that Down’ was scheduled to hit the online world. But, as with many things in todays society and fandom in particular, it seems not everyone could wait.
Just hours before the video was set to debut, Payne took to twitter to reveal that he had been beaten to the punch.
“Sorry guys someone leaked the video. It will be live again at 7.30pm BST look forward to you seeing it then!” – Liam Payne
Fans can rest assured that today will still be release day as the video will stream on YouTube at 7:30pm BTS and the singer will appear live from London to answer fan questions.
It is clear that while on hiatus from the pop sensation group, Payno is following in the footsteps of former band mate Zayn Malik, focusing his attention on a more R&B sound, while Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson keep the pop music coming, and Harry Styles channels his inner rock star.
