With revivals being the “it” thing in Hollywood right now, we have a long list of the shows we’d like to see return to our television screens in revival form.
So when Tia Mowry spoke to Nylon about her and sister Tamera’s hopes to bring Sister, Sister back, instantly we were interested — and also over-invested.
“We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show,” Mowry said. “I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be.
“We’re moving forward, we’re taking those strides,” she continued. “They’re slow strides, but we’re pushing as hard as we can to make people happy and make our fans happy.”
While this is more of a dream than a reality at this point, we believe that this revival could be amazing — and now that it’s in our brains we’re going to need this to happen.
Sister, Sister debuted in 1994 on ABC before being cancelled in season 2 only to be revived by The WB, where it went on to last four more seasons before its end in 1999.
Are you down for a Sister, Sister revival as much as we are?
