NBC has released the photos for tonight’s episode “Turbulence” and there’s a lot going on again as TC and Amira try to operate on a patient with a live explosive lodged inside him, and Drew tries to save an airplane full of people who are mysteriously falling sick with Rick and his mother on board.
There’s never a second to breathe with The Night Shift, but it looks like we’ll be getting a little bit of a break as some of the night shift staff compete in a charity obstacle course contest, although I wouldn’t be surprised if some horrible medical emergency occurs during that event as well.
The part I am most excited about though, is that Rick is back!!! Finally, five episodes into the season he shows up. It’s been too long, and I can’t wait to see more of his adorable interactions with Drew and Brianna. I’m only worried because The Night Shift is going through a character purge this season, and Rick is on the plane full of sick patients that Drew is trying to save, so I hope to god that nothing bad happens to him, because Rick or Drew getting hurt is where I draw the line.
