Clarke is getting a new face in her life. I mean, ok, it’s the same person, just a different actress playing her. To Shadowhunters fans the actress may be a face you recognize.
After all, she is a variation of the Seelie Queen (you know, cause she can change the appearance of her age and all that).
If you remember Madi is the night blood that Clarke raises. When talking to TVLine about Clarke and Madi’s relationship, Executive Producer Jason Rothenberg said, “She’s been with her for five years. They are, for all intents and purposes, bonded the way a mother and daughter would be. So Clarke loves her, and her decision-making process has changed, just as it does for anyone who has a child. … We’ll tell the story of how they came together in Season 5, and how they’ve been surviving as the only two people on the planet.”
We’re excited to see this relationship with Clarke in Madi evolve. We’re even more interested to see how they came together.
