Over forty thousand tickets had been sold since Tuesday night, with proceeds going to the hurracaine relief fund. The Dallas Morning News reports that fans who bought tickets can get a refund, if they so wish, but they can also choose to let the money be used as a donation.

The game had been moved from the Texans NRG Stadium to the Cowboys’ home stadium because of massive flooding in Houston due to Hurracaine Harvey. The team, which has been unable to go home after their preseason game in New Orleans, had been practicing at the Cowboys’ facility in Frisco, Texas.
J.J Watt, one of Houston’s stars, had been very vocal about the only good thing that could come out of the game was a huge fundraising effort, like the one that he, himself, set up this weekend.
As of this morning, per J.J Watt himself, the fund had raised $5.1 million dollars.
