The CW has released the official trailer for Season 13 of Supernatural and as usual things aren’t going to get any easier for the Winchesters. With Kelly Kline and Lucifer gone, they have to risk life and limb to raise the nephilim Jack while protecting him from those that would like to take advantage of him. Top that all off with the grief they’re feeling at losing Mary and it’s a recipe for disaster,

The trailer shows various clips of the boys fighting to stay alive while Jack’s powers come to play and praying to God for his return and help. Most notable about the trailer is the man in white. He’s gunning for the job of King of Hell and will be replacing Crowley on the show but not in our hearts. No one can replace Mark Sheppard.

Fan theories speculate that the man in white is an older version of Jack, AU Lucifer, or the last prince of hell, Asmoseus. Either way, his beard is as glorious as Cain’s (Timothy Omundson) back in Season’s 9 & 10, but definitely not as great as his hair.

And if you were worried about Castiel’s fate, fear no more! The recently deceased angel has appeared on a new Supernatural poster for Season 12. The new promo shows Sam, Dean, and Castiel lined up in a way reminiscent of a Star Wars poster with what looks like a rift between them and the words “Dawn of Darkness” written below them.

With Jack’s fate in the Winchesters hands, their family gone, and a new world of big bads to defeat, we can look forward to an amazing Season 13 on a show that keeps getting better and better with age!
