Fangirlish Gift Guides: What To Get The Trekkie In Your Life

Gift season. For me, one of the hardest things to buy are fandom gifts. There are so many facets to fandom and even if you like a fandom doesn’t mean you like every character, storyline, or ship.

A lot of my friends are Trekkies but I have learned that even then – there are many different versions of Star Trek that you can like.

So we asked – what do you get the Trekkie in your life?

Spock tee? Yes please.

The Vulcan tee feature Spock giving the Vulcan salute (something that I can’t do – and yes, I have tried).

The blue features a print of the Enterprise first officer on the front and his famous motto “live long and prosper” on the back.

The shirt is 50/50 cotton and polyester and runs up to a size 2x. It starts at $32 and can be found here.

The amount of “boldly go where no man has gone before” references I want to make are a plenty, but I will stop. Ok, maybe.

The Trekkie in your life needs a Star Trek Beyond Science Insignia Badge. If they want to complete their cosplay or just a cute pin to have.

Hell I would put that on my backpack.

The officially licensed pin –

  • Metal badge measures 2.25″ high x 1.25″ wide
  • Magnetic back holds badge in place without using a pin

I love a good diploma on the wall. Now most of them have cost me thousands upon thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches.

But hey – I know I am not alone there.

So why not get the Trekkie fan in your life a diploma with a lot less headache – a Starfleet Academy Certificate in a gift box.

The certificate is $24.95 and available HERE.

Decals are cheap but they are fun.

Live Long and Prosper is an icon saying. You can select in size from 2 inches to 12 inches. The prices start at $3 and go as high as $14.

The decal also comes in several colors. All decals will be shipped with transfer tape attached for easy application. Just peel off the back, apply to any smooth, clean surface, use a credit card (or similar) to squeegee out any air bubbles, peel the tape off and it’s good to go!

I always need a cold drink. Some people need a cold beer. But regardless of what you need, you need a good mug to put the liquid in.

So what better to get the Trekkie in your life than an engraved mug. These glasses are CLEAR. There is NO COLOR.

Each glass is etched BY HAND with meticulous care so every glass may be slightly different.

The glasses are not officially licensed.

You can get the glasses here.  They are $10.

I love to collect Christmas ornaments. Especially ones that mean something. They always tell a story. Something you loved, something that you miss, some moment in time.

Fandom always tells a story.

What better to get the Trekkie who collects memories to display every year than an ornament for their tree.

The 2017 STAR TREK BEYOND U.S.S. Franklin ornament is $24.00 and available HERE.

I don’t know about you, but there is never enough time in my life. But I am always keeping track of it.

The Trekkie in your life may be keeping track of time and may need to see it in their favorite fandom.

The clock is called “We Need More Time” and it’s $130. It boasts 12 vintage classic Action Fleet Micro Machine starships, warships and other vessels.

Find it HERE.

Give me jewelry anytime of day.

The Trekkie in your life may feel the same.

This ring signifies your fandom – that you are a trekkie. They are pure 1100 Aluminum, which is food safe and does not tarnish. They contain no Zinc or Magnesium which are often found in common aluminum and can cause skin reactions.

This ring is stamped on a 3/8″ wide aluminum blank and hand wrapped to fit your size.
