Wattpad Authors Add to Our To Be Read Pile in 2018

A new year brings with it new goals, new hopes, and also new books! There are countless new  releases we have already added to our want lists, and many of those for 2018 just happen to be from Wattpad authors! Some of the best and brightest of the forum will be taking to the shelf this year, and we can’t wait to get our grabby hands on each and every one of them.

Here are some of the most anticipated 2018 releases from Wattpad authors for you to add to your lists.

The Spring Girls – Anna Todd (01.02.18)

In the remix tradition of the cult favorite movie Clueless and Curtis Sittenfeld’s Eligible comes a modern retelling of the beloved story of the March sisters, delivered with Anna Todd’s signature style. With plenty of sass, romance, and drama, The Spring Girls is the perfect chance for you to revisit Little Women or discover this cherished story for the first time.

Let’s Talk About Love – Claire Kann (01.23.18)

Alice had her whole summer planned. Non-stop all-you-can-eat buffets while marathoning her favorite TV shows (best friends totally included) with the smallest dash of adulting—working at the library to pay her share of the rent. The only thing missing from her plan? Her girlfriend (who ended things when Alice told her she’s asexual). Alice is done with dating—no thank you, do not pass go, stick a fork in her, done.

Tarnished City – Vic James (02.05.18)

Luke is a prisoner, condemned for a murder he didn’t commit. Abi is a fugitive, desperate to free him before magic breaks his mind. But as the Jardines tighten their grip on a turbulent Britain, brother and sister face a fight greater than their own.

You Will Be Mine – Natasha Preston (02.06.18)

Lylah and her friends can’t wait to spend a night out together. Partying is the perfect way to let loose from the stress of life and school, and Lylah hopes that hitting the dance floor with Chace, her best friend, will bring them closer together. She’s been crushing on him since they met. If only he thought of her the same way…The girls are touching up their makeup and the guys are sliding on their coats when the doorbell rings. No one is there. An envelope sits on the doormat. It’s an anonymous note addressed to their friend Sonny. A secret admirer? Maybe. They all laugh it off.  Except Sonny never comes home.

The Strange and Deadly Portraits of Bryony Gray – E Latimer (02.13.18)

The most peculiar things always happen to Bryony Gray. As if it isn’t bad enough that her uncle keeps her locked in the attic, forcing her to paint for his rich clients, she’s becoming rather well known in the art world… since all her customers seem to go missing.

Tell Me No Lies – AV Geiger (06.05.18)

Love. Obsession. Jealousy. Murder. Find this and more in the pulse-pounding sequel to FOLLOW ME BACK

Love Scene, Take Two – Alex Evansley (06.12.18)

Teddy Sharp is kinda famous, and if his latest audition for the lead in the newest YA blockbuster works out, he’ll be REALLY famous. But even being kinda famous doesn’t keep your flights from being cancelled. Stranded in a small North Carolina airport, he figures his weekend is ruined, until Bennett Caldwell, the author of the very book series he just auditioned for, takes pity on him and invites him to stay at her family’s lake house. Bennett is unlike any girl Teddy’s ever met before, and somehow they just seem to click. But the internet is full of juicy gossip about Teddy’s last relationship… gossip that Bennett might not be prepared to handle.

Arrowheart – Rebecca Sky (06.14.18)

The gods are gone. The people have forgotten them. But sixteen-year-old Rachel can’t forget – the gods control her life, or more specifically, her love life.

Just Don’t Mention It – Estelle Maskame (06.21.18)

Alternating between these past and present timelines, we finally get to see the real story behind Tyler’s enigmatic facade. Revealing his innermost thoughts on his dad, his mom, Tiffani and Eden, this is Tyler as we have never seen him before. But most important of all, it gives heartbreaking insight into why Tyler becomes the angry, self-destructive figure we first encounter in DIMILY.

The Supervillain and Me – Danielle Banas (07.10.18)

In Abby Hamilton’s world, superheroes do more than just stop crime and save cats from trees—they also drink milk straight from the carton and hog the television remote. Abby’s older brother moonlights as the famous Red Comet, but without powers of her own, following in his footsteps has never crossed her mind. That is, until the city’s newest vigilante comes bursting into her life.

Surviving Adam Meade – Shannon Klare (08.14.18)

Seventeen-year-old Claire Collins has a plan: get into college and leave North Carolina behind. What she doesn’t have is an idea for how to get rid of the local football star and womanizer extraordinaire—Adam Meade, who she can’t even avoid (despite many efforts), because Claire’s dad is the high school football coach. Seventeen-year-old Adam Meade never fails. He always gets what he wants… until he meets Claire, the new girl who leaves him unnerved, pissed off, and confused. But there’s something about her that he just can’t resist…

We are sure there are more amazing new books coming to shops all over the world thanks to the talented writers at Wattpad, but these are just a few to get you started! Be sure to let us know which ones you’re most excited to check out in 2018!
