The Release Date of ‘Mary, Queen of Scots’ Has Been Changed

We’ve been anxiously awaiting Mary Queen of Scots and it turns out that we’re going to have to wait longer. WHY CAN’T WE HAVE NICE THINGS?

The movie, which stars Saoirse Ronan, tells the story of Mary Queen of Scots and her turbulent life. It’s not like Reign (though we were into that show for a bit), it’s the actual story. Mary was married at 16, widowed by 18, and defied the world that told her she needed to remarry. She returned to Scotland to reclaim her throne, but England and Scotland are under the rule of Queen Elizabeth. Queen Elizabeth is played by Margot Robbie.

These two are living in fear of each other, but the drama that unfolds is a story for the ages.

The film had been due to release November 2nd, but it has been moved to December 7th.

Are you looking forward to seeing the film?
