‘The Blacklist’ 5×22 Season Finale Photos: ‘Sutton Ross’

Well, it’s finally here. The Blacklist season 5 finale, “Sutton Ross.” It’s been a wild ride, but tonight we’ll finally get to find out what massive secret Red has been so desperately keeping for all these years. The body count surrounding the suitcase of bones has kept climbing ever since Kate first dug it up to use in her war against Red. Kate herself was the first to die trying to tell Liz the secret, then Nick, and finally Tom. Countless others have died since Tom, the most notable among them being Ian Garvey.

Now, Red is going to be forced to reveal his secret to save Liz’s life after she is kidnapped and tortured by Sutton Ross. Red has made it seem like he would sacrifice anyone to keep his secret hidden, but we all know that that sentiment doesn’t apply to Liz. No matter how much Red tries to put up the facade that he would give up anyone to keep himself safe, he will always be willing to give his own life for Liz. Hopefully things won’t have to go that far tonight, as The Task Force will be doing everything they can to find Liz and save her as well. Now that The Blacklist has been renewed for season 6, it’s safe to say that neither Red or Liz will meet their end in the episode tonight, but it seems like they’re both in for a world of pain. Hopefully once all of this business with Red’s secret is finally settled, he and Liz won’t be at odds anymore.

However, from what the show runners have said about the finale tonight, Red’s secret is a game-changer. Depending on what the secret is, the relationship between Red and Liz, and in turn The Task Force could be permanently altered. We’ll just have to wait and see what Red’s massive secret is, but it’s not long now!
