NFL Week 2: Five Must-Watch Games

Week 1 of the NFL delivered plenty of surprises and excellent football games, hopefully week 2 can deliver the same.

We have everything from unexpectedly good match ups in the AFC East (that doesn’t include the New England Patriots), a game between two quarterbacks that played really well last week, and some good old fashioned football rivalries.

From Thursday to Monday here are the 5 games to watch in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL Season!

THURSDAY 9/13 8:20pm

This game is about seeing how consistent these teams can be. They both won in their first game, but Baltimore looked great, Flacco was on fire, and their defense held the Bills (though yes, the Bills) to only a field goal. I expect to see the Ravens win this game with relative ease, though not with the dominance of last week.

SUNDAY 9/16 1:00pm

For the first time in a few years this game will be worth watching. In a generally not competitive AFC East the Jets and Dolphins usually don’t produce thrilling games, but this week may actually be different. I think the Jets will win this game but I also think it will be close. Its an entertaining possibility that the AFC East could be competitive this year.

SUNDAY 9/16 1:00pm

Both the Vikings and the Packers played well in week 1, the Packers with the epic 4th quarter comeback against the Chicago Bears, and the Vikings beating the San Francisco 49ers. The Vikings defense is really good, like really good, and Aaron Rodgers is questionable. I think regardless of Rodgers playing in this game it will be good, with the Vikings winning it in the end.

SUNDAY 9/16 8:20pm

Ahhh a good old-fashioned Sunday Night Football rivalry. The Giants are high on their new running back and the Cowboys have a great running back of their own.  An NFC rivalry showdown on Sunday Night two weeks in a row? I’m hoping that this game delivers the same level of excitement and drama that last Sunday nights game did.

MONDAY 9/17 8:20pm

I’m still on the Bears train this season. I think after the heartbreaking loss they suffered at the hands of the Green Bay Packers in one of last weeks most exciting games. The Bears had a lot of positives to take from their loss, and a lot of things that they can work on. The Seahawks are coming off a week 1 loss and this might be the perfect statement win for the Chicago Bears who have big hopes this season.

What games are you looking forward to this weekend of the 2018 NFL season?
