NFL Week 3: Five Must-Watch Games

Welcome to Week 3 of the 2018 NFL season!

Week 2 saw more of what we saw in week 1: upsets, blowouts, and surprisingly another tie game! This week is sure to bring more of the same. There are plenty of fun match-ups in store this week starting once again with Thursday Night Football.

Check below for the 5 must watch games for Week 3.

1. New York Jets at Cleveland Browns

Thursday 9/20, 8:20 PM

You may be thinking to yourself right now, really Katherine? The Jets and the Browns? To that I will say yes, because this is the game. This is the game that Cleveland finally gets their elusive first win in 2 years, this is the day when the cruel Bud Light fridges unlock and all of Cleveland gets drunk on free (possibly expired?) beer. Come on Browns this is your chance, seize the moment! Dilly, Dilly!

2. Indianapolis Colts at Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday 9/23, 1:00 PM

Wentz is back! That alone makes this game worth watching. How will he fare after his injury that has kept him off the field since before the Eagles victorious Super Bowl victory last year. He has a relatively easy opponent to face in his first game back. It will be a true test for the Eagles to see if their starter can pick up where he left off or if the magic is done for him.

3. New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

Sunday 9/23, 1:00 PM

The Saints barely beat the Cleveland Browns last week and will be looking for a way to get back on track. Brees and company will come up against an equally formidable quarterback in Matt Ryan. Both teams have quarterbacks looking to get their seasons on track, both teams have breakout running backs, and this contest should be heavy on the offense.

4. Los Angeles Chargers at Los Angeles Rams

Sunday 9/23, 4:05 PM

The Battle for the City of Angels is likely to be a good one. A rivalry game where teams are from the same city always produces an electric atmosphere as you have plenty of fans of both teams. Add that to the fact that the Rams may be the best team in the league in the young season and you have the recipe for a fun Sunday afternoon on the west coast.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Monday 9/24, 8:20 PM

The Steelers look horrible this year. The Bucs look great. Roethlisberger just keeps throwing interceptions. Fitzpatrick just keeps throwing touchdowns. The question here is when do the Steelers snap back into being the Steelers (when Bell shows up? Maybe?) and when does Fitzmagic start to run out? One or both of those things could happen on Monday night, though I am personally hoping for Fitzpatrick to continue his unlikely success and take over the starting job for the rest of the Bucs season.

What games are you looking forward to this week?
