We’re back, blindspotters! After a longer hellatus than we would have liked, our favorite show returns tonight! So here is a compilation of all the news of the last days about Blindspot, including synopsis, promotional photos, sneak peek and really interesting spoilers. Here we go!
Here is the synopsis of tonight’s episode.
“CODER TO KILLER”
05/24/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday): A horrifying and vengeful villain threatens the FBI. Weller considers his priorities. Zapata and Reade try to navigate their living situation. Patterson explores a budding interest.
It seems like this is going to be a great episode for our protagonists. Kurt is going to have to face a very tough challenge, Rapata must decide whether to take a step forward … or backwards. Who will approach Patterson?
As if this were not enough, here are the synopses for the two final episodes, which will be broadcast on the same night.
“MASTERS OF WAR 1:5 – 8”
05/31/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : Dominic (Guest Star Chaske Spencer) begins to enact Madeline’s (Guest Star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) cataclysmic scheme as the team rushes to stop him. Tensions rise as past secrets begin to unravel. Starring Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe, Rob Brown as Edgar Reade, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Zapata, Ashley Johnson as Agent Patterson and Ennis Esmer as Rich DotCom
“THE GANG GETS GONE”
05/31/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Friday) : Season Four Finale
The team sets out on an international mission to stop an attack from spreading. Madeline (Guest Star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) attempts to turn the tables as internal conflict threatens relationships within the team. Starring Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe, Rob Brown as Edgar Reade, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Zapata, Ashley Johnson as Agent Patterson and Ennis Esmer as Rich DotCom.
The season finale looks explosive. Madeline has a cruel and twisted plan, I’m sure, and the Team will face her divided … what secrets will come to light that will affect them so much?
After these amazing and exciting synopsis, it’s time for the promotional photos of tonight’s episode, 4×20.
In them, we can see the team in full investigation of what seems a complicated case. Can’t wait for the mystery and the tattoos to return!
We have already seen an advance of what awaits us tonight.
In this particular scene, Jeller faces the prospect of the involvement of Kurt’s mother in the scheme that Shepherd created, and the consequences this has for their family and their future.
Kurt is despondent, knowing that his life has always been handled by someone like Shepherd, which has affected him a lot … but Jane is there, little Bethany too … they are together, they are a family. It is true that they have a complicated life, but It doesn’t matter. They will face whatever … together.
I love to see my OTP so united!
Thanks to TVLine we have very good news for Rapata!
Though they still have some major trust issues to work through, Martin Gero – executive producer of the show- says:
“They both want a romantic relationship to happen. They just don’t know how to do it because that trust was shattered. It’s certainly at the front of her mind, and it’s something he’s very aware of and open to, as well. But it’s complicated. We’ll be exploring that a lot in these last few episodes.”
We have many good things to see about this couple! Both are afraid to take risks and lose … but both want to do it.
Again, thanks to TVLine, we know something about Avery, Jane’s missing daughter throughout the season.
Gero confirms that Avery’s arc:
“Is a closed book for now, citing the lack of a compelling story-line as the reason for her absence. I love Kristina [Reyes], and I would love to find a way to get her back on the show, but it kind of overcomplicates things sometimes to just cram her in a story.”
It seems that the decision to get rid of Avery was a matter of not finding a plot for her and if they do, they will bring her back. However, making the character disappear without any explanation seems a great mistake.
And … we got to the spoilers of the season finale! Again, it’s thanks to TVLine that we have this news. The first is a promotional photo of the season finale where we see the team very warm in a place surrounded by snow. Where will they be and why?
As for what awaits us these last episodes, Gero comments on some good news for Jeller:
“The end of Season 4 will find Jane and Weller in lockstep and [having] each other’s backs in a way that we really haven’t had time to do before.” That said, the couple will be stuck in an “increasingly untenable stalemate with FBI Director Matthew Weitz, who Weller previously threatened to report for doctoring evidence. They’re in for some rough roads ahead. Elsewhere, the FBI team will work to stop Madeline Burke, whose scheme to attack the Eastern seaboard (a plan known as Helios) will explode into the end of the season,” per Gero. “She’s not done. She’s got some moves.”
It seems we can expect to see Jeller as close as they’ve ever been, to Weitz playing his game … and a Machiavellian plan for Madeline on the team’s path.
About the season finale, Gero adds:
“The huge finale, which was shot on location in Iceland, will find the team heading overseas because they’re following a clue about Helios, and something happens on the way there that makes the episode take a hard turn. The season ender will also reinvent the show in a huge way, promising a twist and a dimensionality that we have not been able to play with yet.”
In this final episode it seems that we can expect a new “reeboot” in the show, hopefully to return to its beginnings and the key to success. In addition, the end promises to be very open and surprising.
