Sometimes I feel like the TV gods like to punish me. This is one of those instances. While most fall series are premiering the week of September 23rd, if you love Seal Team like me, we have to wait another week. To me, that is just torture. This series is one of the few shows that I still actually watch live. That is how much I love it. So, while we wait for what seems like years for the season 3 premiere, let’s talk about what I want out of it.
State of Bravo
Bravo Team is currently out of the fight and Mandy is no longer the CIA liaison. Bravo team is first and foremost a family. If one of them is gone there is a noticeable gaping hole. Right now we have two, Clay and Mandy.
Clay getting back on the team
Watching Clay get injured last season just about tore my heart out of my chest. Next to Sonny, he is my favorite. He is the precious baby of the team. He needs to be protected at all costs and right now he needs his family. Bravo is not the same without him. He also needs to let them in. He needs to get his fantastic ass, and it’s a great one, back on the team.
A little fucking happiness for Jason
Listen, I think we can all agree that Jason has been through some serious shit. What I want more for him than anything is a little damn happiness that isn’t taken away. I don’t care what it is. Just show him some god damn happiness.
Sonny and Clay bromance
Through this whole post I have been shouting my love for Clay and Sonny, so this shouldn’t be a surprise. The bromance brings me endless joy and laughs. These two started out clearly not liking each other when our little nugget, Clay, first joined the team. Then Bravo embraced Clay and he became family and the bromance blossomed. In real life as well, just go check out Max Thieriot and AJ Buckley’s Insta anytime.
I am looking forward to more of the love fest and endless brotherhood these two have for each other. Also, the endless concern, teasing, nicknames, and hell they give each other. I also love Sonny’s ever growing list of phobias.
These are just some of my favorite nicknames that Sonny has given Clay.
Blondie, Pin-up girl, Bam-Bam, Fabio, Sleeping Beauty, Ken Doll.
While I love the family aspects of the team, the bonding, the support, the importance of shining light on problems soldiers face. The other thing I love is watching Bravo do what they do best. Kickass. The show-runners and writers of Seal Team always find a way to up the boys and their missions. I can’t wait to see what they take head on this season.
