There are many reasons to look forward to 2020. The fact that a new year is upon us, ripe for the taking. A fresh start. But there’s plenty in store for us in terms of entertainment next year, including from one of our favorite series.
Valentine’s Day (or Feb. 12, in this case) will usher in the new installment of Netflix’s adaptation of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. The sequel, titled P.S. I Still Love You, finds Lara Jean torn between two hotties that have fallen for her — Peter Kavinsky and John Ambrose McClaran. I mean, who could blame them?
“They’re true friends,” Lana Condor says of Lara Jean and John. “But because you can love your friend very much, you get confused. You’re like, ‘Do I love him or do I love him as a friend?’ So he’s really there to mix it up.”
And mix things up he will. If you’ve read Jenny Han’s amazing books, you know exactly what’s in store for Lara Jean and her boys.
“We certainly want there to be a Team Peter and a Team John,” said the film’s director Michael Fimognari.
But, just for the record, I’m Team Peter — forever and always!
