I love Wattpad. I admit that I spend a lot of time on the site reading the books that are written on there.
I feel like so many times books aren’t given a chance, because it’s a matter of luck if you are published. It’s a matter of if a person that is picking up your manuscript likes it. Everything is subjective.
And what I love about Wattpad is that you have a chance to showcase what you write and the general public gets to decide if they like it. And I love that.
One of the most popular stories on Wattpad is She’s with Me, which was recently published traditionally, has over 120 million reads, is headed to television.
As you may know Wattpad has signed a first look deal with Sony Pictures and this stems from that deal. Along with Jessica Cunsolo’s She’s With Me – H.J. Nelson’s The Last She, has also been picked up for adaptation.
She’s with Me, was recently released on Wattpad Books, on January 7, and debuted in the top 50 of three Teen & YA categories on Amazon.
Wattpad Studios’ Aron Levitz and Eric Lehrman will executive produce; Wattpad’s Lindsey Ramey will serve as co-executive producer.
Have you read either book?
