Although it wasn’t a major 3-part crossover, this crossover was probably one of my favorite crossovers yet. I loved the suspense, the story line, and of course seeing my favorite characters come together. One Chicago crossovers are some of my favorite episodes, and this one did not disappoint.
Roman’s Back, Baby

Sean Roman is back, y’all. Even if it was only for the crossover, I loved having Brian Geraghty back on my screen. I missed his friendship with Kim Burgess, and I was definitely excited to see what this crossover had in store for him. He may have left a while ago, but Sean Roman will always be a part of the One Chicago/Chicago PD family to me.
However, I won’t lie that Roman was a little troublesome this crossover. He took matters into his own hands, a lot, and didn’t even tell intelligence that he was back in Chicago or that his sister was missing. I mean, come on man. Don’t you think if your sister was missing, you should go to the cops first and not the fire station. And I gotta say, he’s lucky Voight let him off the hook for what he did.
Big News For Sylvie Brett

Sylvie finally met her birth mother! I’m so happy that she’s finally getting to know her birth mom. Sylvie deserves some happiness after all the disappointments she’s had lately. Although I gotta admit, this story line is not one of my favorites. But if it’s something that makes Brett happy, then I’m all for it. And the casting is incredible! Brett really does look like her birth mom. I’m just glad something finally worked out for Sylvie.
I love how supportive Casey was of Brett through this whole thing. I just love them. However, I wish Sylvie would talk to Stella about what’s going on too. Their friendships is one of my favorites. And she would have so many other people supporting her too if she would tell them what’s going on. I absolutely love Brettsey though. Keep giving me all the Brettsey content.
Broman Reunited

Sean and Kim were finally reunited and I loved it! I really liked their relationship on the show, and I’m glad Kim was there for Roman during this time. He needed a friend and someone who cared for him, and Kim was just the person he needed. Even though they’re not endgame, it was nice to see Broman together again.
I loved that Voight kept pairing Kim and Roman together. Kim was able to keep Sean in check and really get through to him. I get that a lot of people don’t like them together, but I personally love the relationship that they have. I hope we get to see more of Broman in the future, even if it’s just little scenes. Wishful thinking I guess. But you never know what could happen.
Stand Out Scene
Kim and Sean finding Sarah was absolutely heartbreaking. You could see the pain on their faces when they found Sarah frozen in the snow. I was really hoping that Sean’s return to Chicago would have resulted in a better outcome for him.
No matter how you feel about Roman, that scene was devastating. I wish things would have turned out better for him. But, I’m glad he had Kim there with him when it all happened.
Best Lines
Roman: Your unit seems to be walking on eggshells around you. Especially Ruzek
Kim: I’m not asking for your statement, I’m asking why the hell you didn’t come to us
Platt: Keeping secrets from Voight is not a game many people win
Voight: Are you talking about Sean Roman, Kim’s ex partner?
Kim: We have a whole unit that specializes in just that. And not to mention you have me
Voight: I can’t blame Sean for putting his family first
Kim: I wasn’t supposed to be on the scene! I wasn’t supposed to be in the motel! I wasn’t supposed to lose the baby!
Casey: You saved two lives tonight. Try to focus on that
Kim: I want you to be angry with me. As angry with me as I am.
