We know that TV shows come and go. It’s part of the reason that we have such a hard time becoming attached to anything.
It was announced Friday that Fox has decided to cancel Deputy after one season.
The 13-episode run had an average of 3.66 million viewers per episode. The cancellation was purely based on ratings, according to THR.
The show has a 40 percent and 57 percent rating among critics and viewers on RottenTomatoes.com.
Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Sienna Goines and Shane Paul McGhie co-starred.
We’re sad to see the show go, but hey – who isn’t used to shows finally finding their footing and then being torn out from beneath us?
Ya, I’m bitter.
Deputy aired Thursdays on Fox.
