Welcome to another Sunday of talking about the shows & movies that made us laugh, cry, go awww and, of course, look around and wonder what in the world was happening. If it made us feel things, whether they were good, or bad, then this is where we talk about it. This is where you tell us if you agree. This is where we let it all out.
So, without further ado, here are these week’s picks:
Badass Female Character of the Week
Jacqueline: Zoey from Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. I know that Lizzie and Jade will agree, seeing all that rage in Sunday’s episode was a sight to behold. Zoey is in a million different types of pain due to her father dying. Usually, TV shows will show you the weepy heroine, what we usually associate with grief. We’ve seen Zoey cry BUT this time we saw her mad. She lashed out at the world and yes, there are consequences to this but it felt so damn real. My heart truly broke for her. Zoey showing her rage made her truly badass. Gif
Gillian: Claire Fraser from Outlander holding down the fort this week and seriously, saving everyone! Her struggles with finding a solution to save Jamie’s leg, while also realizing she might have to amputate it was tough to watch. And then, she freaking shot the buffalo to save Bree! Claire, I love you forever.
Jasmine: I thought it was pretty badass that Maria was the one who saved Michael on Roswell, New Mexico when the bootmakers’ unhinged twin brother went after them. When she hit him upside the head and knocked him out I cheered a little.
Lyra: Amy Santiago was my badass of the week for taking care of the city and dealing with contractions at the same time on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. If that isn’t badass then I don’t know what is!
OTP of the Week
Lizzie: Jamie and Claire from Outlander, without a doubt. They’ve always been THE standard, but it’s hard to top this week, the way that these two seemingly breathe and live and exist for each other, first and foremost. Their lives are full, and they love freely, but there’s no doubt that Jamie is the most important person in Claire’s life, and viceversa.
Jasmine: Liz and Max in Roswell ,New Mexico. Those are my babies and it was such a delight to see Echo back together again.
Lyra: So what if Elida and Amae aren’t together yet on Vagrant Queen. In my heart, they are or are on the way to becoming one of the best OTP’s out. This past week they had a couple moments that were clearly queer coded and that made me squeal with glory at the pretty that is these two. Love them!
Moment that made you collapse into a puddle of FEELS
Lizzie: The entirety of Penelope’s conversation with Alex about failure. It was beautiful to see, especially because I understand where Alex comes from, the expectations he’s placed upon himself. And to have that support, that encouragement from your mom …that means everything. Well done, One Day At A Time.
Becky: It’s so hard for me to pick just one moment from 9-1-1 this week, because, like…the entire episode was a feels-fest for me because Eddie Diaz is my number one and it was just an episode entirely focused on Eddie’s trauma, so the whole thing was just one big ouchie. Ultimately, though, I think I have to go with Eddie’s near drowning flashbacks of Christopher and his family at the 118 that ended up motivating him to keep fighting. What can I say: I’m a sucker for the Diaz boys and their found family.
Jasmine: In Roswell, New Mexico, Watching Max be a shy flirt with Liz at the market was the cutest thing. When he was trying to speak Spanish to impress her, i was smiling so much. Seriously they had so many cute moments in this week’s episode. I just wanted to reach into my TV screen and hug Max because he was just so damn cute!
Lyra: The end of Extraction got me. Bad. Feels everywhere and a story of redemption I did not see coming at all! Just trust me on this one. Check it out and then get back to me on your feels!
Quote of the Week

Lyra: “She was gonna take me to the safest place she’s ever been.” – Raelle, Motherland: Fort Salem
Gillian: “I don’t like meteors. They remind me of the night my entire family burst into flames upon entering the Earth’s atmosphere.” -Isobel, Roswell, New Mexico
Jasmine: “No one taught me how to love myself.” – Alex, Roswell, New Mexico
WTF Moment of the Week
Gillian: I just got attached to Behrad on Legends of Tomorrow and they pull that? No, not okay! And Zari was finally figuring things out and now this ruins things.
Lizzie: The entirety of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist was a bit WTF and also, incredibly raw and real. I wanted to shake Zoey, but I also wanted to applaud the show for allowing a woman to display all those real emotions.
Jasmine: Kyle walking into the operating suite of the hospital to find Steph undergoing surgery in Roswell, New Mexico
