Thirsty Thursday: Darren Barnet Edition

It’s Thursday, we’re still in quarantine, and bored – so you know that means that we’re finding ways to entertain ourselves. One thing that has been entertaining and we haven’t had to force ourselves to watch is Never Have I Ever on Netflix.

Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful mom and all the amazing mommas out there. Sad that the circumstances of the world have prevented us from being together on this day. But I needed to say thank you. Thank you for always loving me, nurturing me, and pushing me far beyond the limitations I ever set for myself. On set Simi Valley with my dude @michaelvlamis. I remember hanging out with Vlam in his garage after our first rehearsal. We chatted about life, our careers, and what sometimes seemed to be the constant struggle of being an actor. We were both near the end of our rope. Running out of money. Testing countless times for countless projects and being turned away. I remember doing ADR with our fierce director @rj.collins and telling him that I was on the verge of giving up. We’ve all come a long way since then in our own right. The climb continues, the show must go on, and I bust my ass everyday just as hard as I did then. But these moments are ones I will always use as propane to my fire. I guess what I trying to say is…keep going. Always. For if you stop yourself, you only have yourself to blame.
