While the NFL offseason has been its same, typical length — which is always too long — it’s felt especially long amid the COVID-19 pandemic. And given the absence of sports for five months, the return of training camp feels even better than usual.
And one of the best parts about training camp is HBO’s Hard Knocks, which delivers fans a behind-the-scenes look at an NFL team preparing for the start of the season. Given we always want to be in the room where it happens — hehe — it’s a show that has thrived since its inception many years ago.
HBO released the teaser trailer for Hard Knocks‘ new season, which for the first time will feature two teams — the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.
Given the uncertainty of the 2020 NFL season — what it’ll look like, even at this point — it sets up for an interesting Hard Knocks season. With teams set to report to training camp on Tuesday
Hard Knocks: Los Angeles gives an unfiltered all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League. The 18-time Sports Emmy Award winning series will follow head coaches Anthony Lynn of the Los Angeles Chargers and Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams leading a mix of established veterans, free-agent acquisitions and rising stars on both sides of the ball.
Hard Knocks premieres Aug. 11 on HBO.
