It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten a new Bachelor fix, and that’s set to change with the new season of The Bachelorette, which is currently filming. Following controversy surrounding how the show has skewed younger in the last few years, the producers opted to go older with Clare Crawley as this year’s Bachelorette.
But it sounds like there’s already some controversy early into filming of Clare’s season. And not just in any controversy. Potential show-changing controversy.
WARNING: Spoilers for The Bachelorette below:
There have been a number of articles (see here and here) that have surfaced late this week regarding Clare’s season and some issues that have been occurring. While I’m one to typically push those aside without validity, once Reality Steve starts saying there might be some truth to them is when I start to listen.
The original post claims that there have been a lot of issues with Clare during filming. It got so extreme that they called in a new Bachelorette to replace her, the post says. The poster claims that the new Bachelorette is former Bachelor contestant Tayshia Adams, 29.
It’s important to note that nothing is confirmed until it’s confirmed. Right now, it’s all just a rumor. But still, if this winds up being true, it would be a first for this show, which you’d be damn sure they’d talk up in promotion for the new season.
