This is the end of the line for Siren.
Freeform has cancelled the mermaid drama after three seasons, TVLine is reporting. This is actually a little shocking, considering that out of the seven series currently alive at Freeform, it ranked second in the demo and first in total audience.
The third season finale, which aired in May, did solve the biggest mysteries, though, of course, it left some stuff open for a possible season 4.
For those keeping track, that means Freeform has ordered additional seasons of Motherland: Fort Salem and Everything’s Gonna Be Okay.
It also cancelled Party of Five and it recently announced that new episodes of Good Trouble and grown-ish, which were both supposed to air this summer, will be held until 2021.
