The Bachelor franchise is very problematic. I think that the majority of us can agree on that. There is one issue after another, and they have all been brought into the light recently.
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph may not be together anymore and sure, we don’t know the reasons why. But that doesn’t mean that we aren’t curious. I, however, think that it will be one of those things that we never know the true story for.
Colton was on the Reality Steve podcast and talked about why he’s not happy with The Bachelor. Though if we’re being honest, I don’t think he’s the most standup guy, so who the fuck knows if he is sincere.
“Cass stayed extremely professional and extremely quiet about our breakup. What bugged me was the fact that that show took advantage of her. I get very defensive over people I love and I know Cass is a big girl and she can fight her own battles, but I just know her heart and she doesn’t want to rock the boat and she loves people, even if they abuse her or even if they take advantage of her, which they did,” he said on the podcast.
Cassie is a big girl and can fight her own battles. She did go on the show and sure, they may have tricked her, thinking that she was going on to talk about what she’s up to. But having been on The Bachelor, she should know that the producers are shady shits and are going to do whatever they can to come up with a dramatic story-line.
Underwood went on to say that he tried to warn her that they were not going to be on the up and up. He says he tried to warn her that they would only point the questions in his direction and goad her. Which is true, that is what they did.
But the way he sounded – well it was like a pompous asshole. There may be a part of him that was trying to protect Cassie, but he sounded worried about his image more than anything.
Cassie has always kept what is going on private and we respect that about her. She makes sure that her personal life is personal.
“I was more frustrated for her, because she just got completely taken advantage of and completely manipulated. You have Chris Harrison pointing questions saying, ‘I sense you don’t want to make Colton mad, or you’re afraid you’re going to upset Colton.” he said about her appearance on the show.
It’s good that Cassie and Colton are good, but am I the only one that sees that he’s using this as an opportunity to talk about himself – per usual. Over him.
