The Bachelorette hasn’t even started yet, but I will admit, I don’t like Clare. She’s a drama queen, and she’s annoying.
I said what I said and I stand by it.
The drama queen talked with People about The Bachelorette shutdown due to coronavirus and why it was kind of a blessing. I personally think it was a blessing for the dudes that possibly had to put up with her.
“Producers were able to recast some of the guys and get some that were more appropriate for what I was looking for. I wanted a guy who was genuinely there for me,” Clare said of the pro of it being delayed. “There was a lot of talk about, ‘Oh, I’m the older Bachelorette, are these guys too young?’ But it was also about: am I too old for them? It went both ways. So we were able to hone in on what everybody was looking for.”
She also talked about the shutdown and safety precautions due to the virus and how it changed her time with all of the men and made her time with them more worthwhile.
“It was definitely a long anticipation for the first night,” she commented. “To see the men standing in a room and know that most of them have the same interests and goals as I do, it really was magical. They were all amazing. I could feel it in my bones!”
She went on to say, “There was no physical touch, no contact and no face to face. So just being able to hug on somebody and love on somebody was so amazing. There was more of an appreciation. And goosebumps!”
I’m sure there was a lot of appreciation that you gave them to time to realize you’re a pain in the ass, Clare.
The Bachelorette premieres October 13th on ABC.
